CHARACTER INFORMATION

( To me, my nakama are the treasures of my life. )

[there is nothing but silence - a painful, almost eerie silence that's only broken by the passing wind. And then after a minute, Luffy's voice comes through the speakers; and it doesn't sound like his happy-go-lucky self at all.]

They are all going to pay.

[there's silence for a moment, but then there's a shuffle, and then Luffy's voice is heard over the speakers.]

Hey, guys? Did any of you lose a dairy? Coz' I found one earlier and I'm not sure whose it this... its um... it has a neat blue leather cover and the first page got the words 'My Diary' written pretty fancily! And uh...

[a pause, and the rustling of papers as Luffy flips through the book] Its got stuff like... hanging out in the brig? And also... sea salt ice-cream... I haven't tried that before; I really should one day and um... oh! I'll just read out one of the entries so the person who owns this can recognize it!

[pauses again, and this time Luffy clears his throat before he begins to read.] Third December: I met Neku in the brig today. Apparently he locked himself up in there or something... wonder what's up with that? Its like he just wants to hibernate in there or something; not that I can blame him though - most of the guys here get on my nerves. Neku too, though he's... not as bad. I mean, he has this habit of changing the music he listens to most of the time which is annoying and I swear he's raised by Sky Wolves since he's so... off but I guess... he's not too bad. I mean, we can talk and hang out together and stuff, which isn't so bad. Maybe... maybe next time, we can eat ice-cream together.

[and once more, Luffy pauses before he remarks] ...I wonder whose handwriting is this. Its really neat and nice... maybe its a girls?

[there's the sound of much chaos and shouting, combined with the noise of what seems to be rock and earth and metal hitting against each other, some of the noises in rhyme and rythmn. Footsteps are all abound, and in the din there's Luffy exclaiming into his journal in a rushed voice.]

Guys, guys! One of the mines nearby just had a cave in! [more shouting goes here, and for a moment his voice is overlapped before he manages to be heard again.] ...I think its a small one though, but there are some people still trapped inside! We gotta save 'em!

So this is Tulgim? Awesome!! Everything's all so nice and cool and white and stuff... its so different from back home! And the mountains here seem sooooo taaaaaaaall... I wonder if I can try and stretch all the way up there, hee~

Oh oh, and it looks like one of the ship from the races is here too! The Fiertia, right?

...sounds kinda familiar though...

[Luffy sounds more than elated here than how he usually is. There's a bit of laughing, and one can pretty much hear the smile on his face as he speaks.]

So guys, guys! I found out something really awesome a few days ago in this place! Its a really awesome place! Everyone there's nice and great and the food they serve there is delicious and awesome and really really great! They even have the Silvana Meatloaf, hee~

Mmmn though... what's a Gay Bar? Is that some sort of chocolate brand?

A plane race??

[pause for about five seconds before he shouts...]

AWESOME!!

Look what flew to me from the skies! A paper crane! [there's the rustling and crinkling of paper as the teenager unfolds the origami crane]

'Today you will find the answer to life.'

[a pause]

...but isn't the answer to that supposed to be forty-two or something?

WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!

Looks like we drove back all the cactuars! Awesome!! We rock! Yeaaaaaah! I think we should have a party to celebrate this, hee~ Watanuki, I want some meatloaf!

[there's a bit of a pause, some shuffling and then a few moments of silence before Luffy speaks.]

...mmmn, guys?
